Manufacturer of Custom-Built Servers is looking for an individual with exceptional phone tech support skills who can identify, research, and resolve technical problems quickly and efficiently.
Location: Border of Irvine and Tustin (55/5FW)

Pay: Varies depending on performance, experience and expertise
Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Help desk, answering tech-support phone calls
Answering emails professionally with clear and easy-to-understand formatting
Pre-sales technical consulting on high-level server technologies
RMAs (managing intake tickets and proper troubleshooting)
Design rackmount/blade servers per customers' specifications
Willing to work hard.
Be Coachable and willing to accept constructive criticism
Quick learner with good memory and willing to learn a lot
Ability to adapt and switch from a slow to fast paced environment
Reliable (both Attendance and Punctuality)
Multitasking, able to handle frequent interruptions and shifting priorities
Pleasant, confident voice and fluent English
Able to communicate professionally by phone, email, and face-to-face interaction.
Proficient in finding solutions and answers online. Excellent research skills a must!
Have solid knowledge and understanding of computer hardware
Strong self-organizer with the ability to maintain paperwork and workload at all times
Linux Command Line Interface
Virtualization environment experience
Various RAID level experience
Website Support experience
Assuming the raw skills are present, you'll gain additional hands-on training.
This is primarily a customer service job. It is not a quiet/analytical sysadmin position in the server room, nor is it a laidback position. We need people with technical expertise who are driven to help people.
